Freshman Field Locations

Point Loma's home field for Freshman-AAU games is located on the back side (Famosa Blvd.) of
Correia Junior High located at 4302 Valeta Street.

These directions are taken from the 2006 San Diego County High School Baseball Guide--if you find that a direction is incorrect, please email the boosters so this can be updated.

Chieftians-Clairemont H.S: 4150 Ute Drive. Hwy 5 or 805 north to Balboa, if Hwy. 5, east on Balboa; if Hwy 805 , west on Balboa, south on Clairemont Drive to Ute, right on Ute, 1/2 block.

Islanders--CORONADO HIGH at Silver Strand Elementary School. I-5 South Take the CA-75 exit onto San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge towards Coronado Island. Continue to follow CA-75 . Go left onto Orange Avenue towards Imperial Beach. Pass a library and the Hotel Del. Go to the signal, Leyte Road and go left. It will take you into Navy housing. Follow the road to the Silver Strand Elementary School. The baseball field is in the back of the school.

Bucs--Mission Bay H.S: 2475 Grand Ave. Hwy 5 north to Grand Ave, exit Grand Ave. West. Turn left at light on Lee Street, follow road, freshman field on the right side turn into dirt lot.

Patriots--Patrick Henry 6702 Wandermere (619) 286-7700 8 to College Ave, slight left to College Ave North ramp. Slight left onto College Ave. Right onto Camino Ruco. Right only Ridge Manor Ave. Left onto Wanderemere.

Marauders--Hour Glass Field-Mira Mesa The field is hourglass park field #6.
15 North to Carroll Canyon exit. Go left (West) from the freeway if you are coming from Pt. Loma. Go to the dead end which is Black Mountain Road and turn right. Your first traffic light is Gold Coast turn right. Take your second driveway on the left, make your first left, which you will follow around to the left into the parking lot of the park. The field is next to the parking lot.

Vikings--La Jolla H.S: 750 Nautilus Street & Fay. Hwy 5 north, exit La Jolla Parkway. (which becomes Torrey Pines Rd.). From Torrey Pines Rd., go left on Girard for one block, right on Pearl for one block, left on Fay. School at Fay and Nautilus.

Q's--Serra HS 5156 Santo Road (858) 496-8342.8 to 15North to Balboa/Tierra Santa exit. Merge onto Tierra Santa. Go left onto Santo Road.

Centurians--University City: 6949 Genesee Avenue. Int. 805 to Hwy 52 West, exit Genesee North approximately 1 ½ miles to school – or Int. 5 to Hwy. 52 East (San Clemente Canyon Rd.,), exit Genesee North 1 ½ miles to school.
